Middle School at SEA Academy is all about connections, collaboration, and a LOT of personal growth. Students are encouraged to explore their interests within the core subject areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Students may come to us with a variety of needs, ranging from low social/academic confidence, high anxiety, and a desire for friends. The learning process is enriched through games and projects, research, and shared inquiry discussion as well as individual sessions with a teacher. Through these activities, the students connect with each other and learn to compromise, negotiate, explain, evaluate, execute, and problem solve. Teaching materials we utilize include:

Our Middle School students enjoy many activities beyond the classroom which enrich their learning. Some of the available programs include social groups, Partners & Trios, Nutrition Lab, Physical Education, gardening and composting, Protect the Planet, Film Festival, holiday chorus, STEM and Math labs, and more.
